"I saw the Lord in a vision..."

The Gospel According to Mary Magdalene
(The Gospel of Mary)

8) And she began to speak to them these words: I, she said, I saw the Lord in a vision and I said to Him, Lord I saw you today in a vision. He answered and said to me,
9) Blessed are you that you did not waver at the sight of Me. For where the mind is there is the treasure.
10) I said to Him, Lord, how does he who sees the vision see it, through the soul or through the spirit?
11) The Savior answered and said, He does not see through the soul nor through the spirit, but the mind that is between the two that is what sees the vision and it is [...]

I too saw the Lord in a vision yesterday. He was sleeping on a cot and surrounding Him were His sheep and some other animals. It was just for a fraction of a second that I saw this in my dream. I had forgotten about it but remembered now after reading this passage from the Gospel of Mary Magdalene.

Mary Magdalene - Patron Saint of Converts

What I didn’t know about Mary Magdalene is that she is the patron saint of converts.

As the patron saint of converts, Mary teaches us to follow Christ when He calls us.

It is believed that Mary Magdalene came to Marseille and converted the whole of Provence.

After Magdalene was converted to penitence the Lord bestowed such great grace upon her that after the Blessed Virgin no woman could be found to whom greater reverence should be shown in this world and greater glory in heaven. (Bl. Humbert of Romans)

What we all know is that Mary Magdalene was well known as a sinner when she met Jesus. She then felt great sorrow for her sinful life and she became a faithful follower of Our Lord and humbly served Him and His apostles. When He was crucified, she bravely stood at the foot of the Cross with Our Lady and St. John, and she then went to His tomb to anoint His Body with spices. Because of her great love, Jesus chose to show Himself to Mary Magdalene on the morning of the Resurrection, even before He appeared to His apostles.
